Villa Parodi is a very charming real estate complex built around 1880 by an important Genoese nobleman (Emanuele Vittorio Parodi) and sold by his heirs in 1962, the complex is located within a large park which is accessed by a private driveway, and has several buildings: the former concierge with an adjoining tower and terrace above, the large manor house and a greenhouse. From 1974 until 2018 it was the prestigious seat of the Public Body or the Regional Administrative Court of Liguria. The park is a corner of Mediterranean scrub that has remained intact in the heart of the city and part of the renowned Sturla district of Genoa, with centuries-old trees and terraces sloping down to the sea, with a vegetable garden and courtyard, measuring 6000 square meters. It is crossed by a private avenue that it starts from via Dei Mille, where the former concierge is located and gives access to some private villas. At the end of the avenue a second gate delimits the part of the park for the exclusive use of the main villa, with a series of terraces in the area towards the sea, where there are pedestrian accesses towards the Costa Sciôa area. In the private square of the Villa about 30 parking spaces are available. The former gatehouse and the turret are located at the access to the avenue, from via dei Mille. The concierge, a two-storey building of approx. 110. On a higher level is the Tower of approx. 15 facing the street, with a terrace in front and garden. The main villa was built in the late nineteenth century as the private residence of an important Genoese family, the Parodi family, from whom the villa will take its name, and has an entrance porch and four floors, including a turret attic for a total area of ​​1876 square meters. Access is on the ground floor, with a portico into which the main entrance opens, then there are secondary service entrances. There are two large halls of representation, once used as a room for the hearings of the TAR, and several other areas. An internal staircase and an elevator give access to the first and second floors, with large, very bright rooms which on the second floor have two large panoramic terraces. A staircase gives access to the third floor and to the attic obtained in the building's turret. Another internal staircase also gives access to the basement, which has five large rooms and has two external accesses to the garden; another room with separate access houses the boiler room for heating. The building is built in masonry, with marble and slate floors or parquet. The greenhouse of fine workmanship is a building partly in masonry and partly with windows once used as a greenhouse / winter garden, for about 82 square meters. The electrical system is up to standard, the building has an energy certification, and an anti-seismic survey. The building is included in the PUC of Genoa in zone F, with a function for public services and public parking lots, with the possibility of other functions such as specialist residence similar to a function of the services, public entertainment venues or functionally connected to the service. The owner company has obtained the modification to the PUC, so the intended use may eventually return to being a residential villa as it was previously.
