Since its first document dating back to 1698, this property has spanned the centuries, welcoming a series of illustrious characters who have left an indelible mark on the city of Turin. Born at the end of the seventeenth century, to house the musicians and singers of the Teatro Regio of Turin, it was called for this reason Vigna Calcina and became the home of various historical figures, such as the writer Arturo Graf, the Cirio family, and finally the Belgian brothers Waser who gave vent to their imagination and their ingenuity within the estate, after having designed the Superga funicular and the first tram lines of Turin. From 1932 until 1979 the Missionary fathers of La Salette came to live, who gave it the name: ''La Salette'' The magnificent residence extends over a park of about six hectares, where you can admire stone avenues that wind between centuries-old trees, orchards, vineyards and woods: within the vast land stands the imposing Piedmontese Baroque-style manor house , embellished with elaborate cornices and romantic rosettes that reflect the architectural mastery of the period. Adjacent is the magnificent chapel, completely restored in 2000 by the famous painter Bruno Molinaro. In the same park, the ten villas built in 1960 are inserted, thanks to their peculiarities, they bind in a fascinating way with the surrounding landscape. One of the most successful interventions by the engineer Waser was certainly that of building a splendid brick tower on the highest hill of the property: the position enjoys a unique panoramic view of the city of Turin and the mountain range of the Alps, from Monviso to Monterosa, with a 360° view also of the hills that surround Turin, benefiting from Juvarra's masterpiece, the Basilica of Superga just 1 km away as the crow flies. The Salette residence represents a fascinating combination of history, architectural beauty and breathtaking landscapes that make it one of the most suggestive assets in the region, offering multiple purposes of use, which vary from the personal enjoyment of an enchanting environment, to the use of the properties for hospitality purposes , up to the possibility of splitting for the creation of different housing units.
