Historic villa on three levels in the center of Cherasco.Cherasco is an Italian town in the province of Cuneo in Piedmont and was born in 1243, by the will of the imperial vicar of Frederick II of Swabia, Manfredi II Lancia, belonging to a cadet branch of the Aleramici dynasty and Sarlo di Drua, mayor of Alba. Already in Roman times there was a village, called Clerascum, where the imperial vicar Lancia wanted to build the new town. As a free and independent commune, in the troubled periods of the communal struggles, Cherasco again passed to the Ghibellines together with Alba, Asti and Chieri, in 1277.
